Custom web application development

WebRove builds custom web applications for products that cannot be reduced to a template: SaaS platforms, operational dashboards, customer portals, PWA interfaces and internal business systems.

What this service covers

  • Product architecture around real workflows and domain states.
  • Server-rendered or application-style frontend where appropriate.
  • Authentication, roles and permissions when the product requires them.
  • Integration with backend APIs, databases and external services.
  • PWA capabilities for installable, app-like web experiences when useful.
  • Production deployment and post-launch stabilization.

Best fit

This service is a strong fit for SaaS MVPs, operational dashboards, marketplace tools, customer portals and internal systems that need custom workflows or business rules. It is not positioned as high-volume template-site production.

Architecture principle

The default is the smallest coherent architecture that can support the product. A modular monolith is often a better starting point than multiple services. Queues, workers and separate components are introduced when workload, ownership or failure isolation justifies them.

Public-facing implementation

When a product has public pages, semantic HTML, stable URLs, server-visible content, unique metadata, canonical URLs, structured data and sitemap coverage are treated as implementation requirements rather than an afterthought.

Questions about this service

Can WebRove extend an existing web application instead of rebuilding it?

Yes. Existing products can be audited and extended incrementally. A rewrite is considered only when the current constraints make incremental change materially riskier or more expensive.

Does every custom web project need microservices?

No. A modular monolith is often the simpler and more reliable starting point. Separate services are introduced only when scale, ownership, security or failure isolation creates a concrete need.

Can a custom web application also be a PWA?

Yes. Installability, offline-tolerant flows, caching and other PWA capabilities can be added when they improve the actual user workflow rather than being included as a checkbox.
